Moms of Preemies Need a Nurse to Talk To

baby incubator 1Mothers of newborn premature babies often face a range of anxiety that deserves the human touche and skilled care of a nurse, according to a study published in U.S. News and World Report.

Yet too frequently, hospitals have cut corners and don’t schedule enough nurses to accommodate the time for heart-deep conversations.

One-on-one talks with nurses help mothers of premature infants cope with feelings of anxiety, confusion and doubt, a new study reveals.
